Pregnancy Dilemma- What if my husband is away when I give birth?

This is another side of the story. Yep I suffered from Morning sickness, to indescribable stretch marks ,then came the stretching of my memory, and now the worry thinking of my husband being away when I deliver.

Giving birth while a husband is far away is not a new story for my genetics. My mother gave birth while my Father is working in the Middle East. My sister in law gave birth with the same story like my Mom.

I can see the positive side of this event, first and foremost whenever my Husband is around, I get to be so "maarte" as in! I rely to him everything and get mushy and emotional every second of the day. I trust him so much, as he really takes good care of my baby and me.
Without him by my side, I need to express the Zam in me, strong, over confident, tactless, hahaha..., which somewhere in the middle I know will have positive effects while giving birth.
Second good effect of this is the fact that my husband's vacation is only 35 days. If I give birth before he arrives then he will have a longer time to spend with our baby! [Yep, we have to go back to Dubai and leave our baby for sometime with my husband's Mother. It has to do with the visa and the accommodation and my Husband's work, but don't worry about this as I am not. My baby will be in good hands. We are setting the goal of my Baby's migration before the end of December,2006,anyway. ]
Back to my dilemma, I already sited two positive effects, let me now think about the negative. Errr...aside from the fact that its really sad to be alone now and during the delivery, plus the thought that my husband will miss this first of the first event in our life,I can't think of anything else. Maybe there isnt's anything I should worry about. Maybe? Let me just cross the bridge when I get there.
And by the way thanks to so many internet shop nowadays in the streets, I get to spend my free time in blogging while waiting for my OGTT, next blood sugar test. It's 4 blood sugar test in the span of 3 hrs, with 100 Mg dose of apparently healthy glucose. The series of test is the confirmation that I no longer have diabetus mellitus, in short, diabetis. LOL
